Southern Utah has some pretty incredible Librarians and I am excited to tell you about all of them! They do so much for our kiddos and really provide a great service to all of Southern Utah. Today I want you to meet one of our Washington County Children's Librarians.
Meet Christina |
Christina has been a librarian for 7 years and currently works at the Enterprise library branch. She loves being a librarian!
She loves so many books so she couldn't pick just one! There are so many books that she has loved, currently loves, and new ones that she will love once she reads them! Her favorite book changes from day to day. How could it not, working in a library!
Her favorite thing about being a children's librarian is playing with the kids each week. She loves children! A interesting fact about Christina is that she has over 50 nieces and nephews! Family reunions must be a lot of fun!
On the weekend Christina loves reading and photography. Her favorite book growing up was any of the Nancy Drew books! She loved the mysteries that Nancy and her friends would solve.
Christina wants to tell children everywhere to read every day. She said, "It will take you all over the world!" Reading is something that all kids should do every day and they will find adventures in it.
If you haven't met Christina, go visit her at the Enterprise Branch and ask her to help you find a book. She knows about all the good ones that no one knows about!
